As someone who has been backpacking and climbing mountains for almost 40 years, this is the best trowel I have ever used. I was so frustrated with other trowels that I started carrying my ice axe. This product is incredibly lightweight and effective. The serrated edges are perfect and make it very easy to quickly dig a 6 to 8 inch hole and properly dispose of your poop and biodegradable toilet paper. The difference between carrying my ice axe simply to dig a hole, and this trowel was immeasurable. Buy it, it’s awesome.
